Our Services
Crown Court
Although all cases begin at a magistrates’ court, some cases, dependent on the nature or seriousness of the offence will proceed to the crown court; for instance murder/manslaughter, serious violence, sexual offences, complex or high value fraud and possession with intent to supply drugs.
If your case is sent to the crown court, your case will be adjourned and you will be given a court date for a preliminary hearing or otherwise a plea and trial preparation hearing.
We will also instruct a leading barrister from the hand selected chambers that we work with, to represent you at the crown court.
A great deal of time and consideration goes into the preparation of your case, and the many months that it can take to arrive at the first day of trial are used to go through the served evidence, to meet with you and take your instructions, to pursue lines of enquiry such as your witnesses or CCTV and to liaise with the prosecution in order to obtain fuller disclosure.
